The FRM is a qualification for risk management professionals, particularly those who are involved in analyzing, controlling, or assessing potential credit risk, market risk, and liquidity risk as well as non-market related financial risks.

Exam Structure The FRM Exam is a two-part, paper-and-pencil, multiple choice exam. The FRM Exam Part I consists of 100 equally weighted questions and is offered in the morning. The FRM Exam Part II consists of 80 equally weighted questions and is offered in the afternoon. Candidates are allotted four hours to complete each exam and have the option to complete both parts in one or two cycles. The exams are offered in person in American English, twice a year in May and November at approximately 100 exam sites around the world. The FRM Exam is a comprehensive, practice-oriented assessment that covers the fundamental tools and techniques used in risk management, their underlying theories, and the major sub-areas of risk

The FRM® Part I and Part II exams are held twice a year, in May and November. It is your responsibility to register with GARP®

FRM – Eligibility : As such, there are no minimum eligibility requirements to write the exam. You can write the FRM Part-1 exam even if you are in the final year of your graduation and you can take the FRM Part-2 only when you complete the FRM Part-1 exam.
